This policy explains how CHOSEN BLESS LTD (company no. 17498707, registered office 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom) collects and uses personal data when you visit this site or support a channel. We are the data controller for that data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- An optional name and message you provide. These appear on the public supporter wall unless you choose the “Keep my support anonymous” option.
- From the payment provider: your name, email address, the amount, date and transaction ID — for receipts, records and refunds.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and approximate country — used to keep the site secure and to prevent fraud.
- Attribution data: a referral click identifier and campaign (UTM) parameters, stored in a single first-party cookie for up to 30 days so support can be credited to the channel that referred you. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Payment information
Payments are processed by PayPal, Stripe or Whop, depending on the checkout you use. They handle your card or account details under their own privacy policies; we never see or store your full card number, bank details or payment-provider password.
How we use it — and our lawful basis
- To take and record your contribution, send receipts and handle refunds or questions — necessary to perform our agreement with you.
- To keep accounting and tax records — a legal obligation. We keep transaction records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK law requires.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the site secure, and credit support to the referring channel — our legitimate interests.
- To show your name and message on the supporter wall — only if you choose; tick “Keep my support anonymous” and they are never shown. Ask us at any time and we will remove them.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell them.
Sharing
We share data only with: the payment provider that processes your contribution (PayPal, Stripe or Whop); our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare); and professional advisers or public authorities where the law requires it. Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your data leaves the UK, it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. We do not sell your personal information and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, to object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Tick “Keep my support anonymous” to hide your name from the public wall. To use any of these rights, email info@chosenblessed.com — we reply within one month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
